Train traffic

The narrow gauge railway is operated in summertime period and during local events or chartered trains. The traffic is operated by Smalspåret i Hultsfred AB. In July there is train traffic between Åseda and Hultanäs. During Virserum Market in the beggining of August we drive Market trains, from the market place just north Virserum station.

Rent your own train with our restaurant car.

We are pleased to offer you our railway cars for meetings, company events etc. At the moment you can enjoy a tour Hultanäs-Åseda or/and Virserum-Hjortöström.

The restaurant car is used as a café and may also be rented for stationary use along the line. If you are interested in renting our trains don't hestiate to contact us.
