Föreningen Smalspåret Växjö-Västervik(Växjö-Västervik narrow gauge railway society) is an non-proft and non-political society acting for the preservation of the narrow gauge railway. We also work for the development of train traffic along the hole railway so that it can me used for train traffic in a proper way. Our societies regulations are set by the society board and are submited at the annual meeting. The latest version of our regulations can be found here.

Our society also organises own activities as well as contributes during different activities organised by the owner companies along the railway. We have about 450 members from all around sweden at the moment, and also from other countries like Denmark, Germany and Austria. Four times a year we issue a paper, Smalspårsinform.

Organizational our society is made up out of local divisions with their own board and own member activities. For some activities special work groups are put togheter by the society board. You can find our regulations at the regulations page.
